About John Mark Dixon
Years ago, I worked on an advertising campaign for a men’s fragrance with my second writing partner, Veronica. Her script for the TV commercial, a description of men and boys, said - “they turn things inside out and upside down, and shake them, just to see what happens”. This pretty much sums me up, much to the dismay of my mother, and each bouquet of unsuspecting flowers.
Giclee is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works. This is how my prints are produced. It’s one of the best print reproduction methods available, a process that uses a 12 color ink jet printer, acid free papers, and pigment based archival inks.
Limited Edition Prints
All of the photographs in my galleries are available as Giclee prints, on archival matte paper. Each is a custom ordered, limited edition, numbered print with embossed signature.
